This worlds too cold for the likes of me.
My souls grown old too blind to see.
Standing here in the realm of the dead.
Going over the pain and sorrow in my head.

The Hollow World at the end of time.
Staring into my empty eyes.
My heart so lost, was it ever mine?
Screaming out against your putrid lies.

My shattered heart dying at the end of desire.
My body lies in a wanton grave.
The flames still rising from love's funeral pyre.
Left to rot on cupid's stave.

Like Persephone in the land of lost souls.
The quest for Love abate on borrowed time.
Left so empty and alone, this eternity has taken it's toll.
When was it ever mine....

Staring at the barren walls of this place...
Inside my head, I reside alone...
All my happiness and dreams displaced...
My heart heaved, cold as stone...

I'm a slave to the pain you put me through...
A lover's outcast... A fallen angel at last...
I was nothing to you...
Into death's oblivion you had cast...
The last of our love untrue...

Why did you take your gifts from me?
I'm set adrift into the abyss of sorrow...
Did you ever need me and to what degree?
As I look to my future... I see no tomorrow...

All I have is the emptiness within...
Ashes and blood are all you left...
Battered and bruised.... A vision of your sin...
An epitome of a love so bereft...

In the end, was it worth the price we paid???

I think this first one is something that comes from VERY deep within and thus is really a work of the soul. The question " In the end, was it worth the price we paid???..I think that only time can ever really answer that question fully. I wish you all the best...

The second one evokes many of the same emotions that I strived for in the lyrics to "gone"..There are times we all feel that way I suppose...and knowing how to express it is the best way to combat it:)

I have no want to repent…
In ecstasy, we fall from grace…
Your appetites damn me to your intent…
Happily, in sin with a smile on my face…

You know my secret desires…
Because you hear me in your dreams…
Begging for your touch before the moment expires…
I can feel you close, listening to my screams…

A pair of fated lovers…
Tortured pure soul mates…
The angels cried when we found each other…
Entwined in front of Hell’s Gates…

Beyond time, beyond love, beyond death…
Our bond can never be broken…
In the grip of endless passion, I cry out with my last breath…
It is now, we finally feel the words that need not be spoken…

So angelic, pure, and kind…
With eyes like emerald isle’s grass…
Just one kiss and you’ll be mine…

I can feel your eyes upon me…
In this tomb of glass, I reside…
Take this mask, so you can see…
A withered heart lies inside…

Shattered glass sparkling upon my bower…
This deed you’ve done for glory…
Bewitched with love in this darkened hour…
Just like a Grimm’s fairy story…

With true love’s kiss, you seek my awakening…
Lips as soft as silken flower petals…
A taste of sin like poison accentuating…
The feel of teeth sharp like thorny nettles…

A succubus in beauty’s guise…
You fall to your doom willingly…
You die forlorned with love in your eyes…
A victim of love’s possibility…

A wicked laugh was heard that night…
As a knight fell to his fate…
A demon danced in pure delight…
For his love was much too late…

But Willing Vicitims of Fate... More is the want of love that sometimes we have no control over and that we are doomed for good or ill but care not just for one moment of happiness.... Fate... Sometimes we are willing slaves to its call.... ~C~
